Blue & Co., the US-based accounting and advisory firm, has acquired Texas-based D & Co., effective 1 February 2026.
D & Co., formerly known as Durbin & Co., is a full-service accounting and advisory firm that offers healthcare reimbursement consulting services.

As per the terms of the deal, D & Co. will be integrated into Blue & Co. and will continue to operate from offices in Lubbock, Dallas, Fort Worth and Waco.
The transaction brings more than 40 D & Co. employees into Blue & Co., adding capabilities in healthcare reimbursement, hospital and clinical consulting, healthcare audits, projections and financial advisory services.
A group of D & Co. leaders will join Blue & Co. as directors.
The team comprises Brent Fuller, Tommy Davis, Steven Thummel, Andrew Castillo, Shonna Cannaday and Aaron Milligan.

By GlobalDataFuller has more than 30 years in Medicare reimbursement, advising acute care and cancer hospitals, academic medical centres and other specialised providers.
Davis brings over 25 years in accounting and consulting with a primary focus on healthcare, while Thummel has more than 23 years in healthcare auditing for hospitals, long-term care facilities and community health centres.
Castillo has upwards of 22 years in audit and consulting across healthcare, government, not-for-profit, construction and manufacturing.
Cannaday offers over 20 years of accounting experience, including 19 years in healthcare reimbursement.
Milligan has spent more than 19 years at D & Co., specialising in financial audits, reporting and cost report preparation.
