Former PricewaterhouseCoopers UK senior
partner Kieran Poynter will become a non-executive partner at the
British American Tobacco (BAT) on 1 July.
BAT’s chief operating officer Nicandro Durante
has been appointed chief executive and will take the reins of the
company next February. He will succeed Paul Adams.

Durante joined BAT in 1981 and he has held
senior management roles in Brazil, the UK and Hong Kong.
John Daly will succeed Durante as chief
operating officer on 1 September.
