The International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) data analytics working group has established a data analytics project advisory panel and announced its members.
As its name suggests, the recently established advisory panel’s role will be to inform the IAASB’s work on data analytics by advising as a technical resource to the IAASB working group.
The advisory panel members include staff from accounting networks; EY, KPMG, BDO, Deloitte and PwC. But also staff of organisations such as the CFA Institute, the Japanese Institute of CPAs, some universities as well as staff from the offices of auditor general of some Canadian states and private companies.
