Simmons Gainsford, a UK accountancy and advisory practice within Sumer Group, has acquired Fortis Accountants for an undisclosed sum.

With the acquisition, the company’s team will join Simmons Gainsford and become part of Sumer Group’s national network, which includes more than 3,000 people across 60-plus offices.

For Simmons Gainsford, the deal extends its presence in West London and strengthens its ability to provide professional services to SMEs in the area.
Meanwhile, clients of Fortis Accountants will be able to draw on Sumer Group’s broader service lines including audit, tax, advisory and business support, while continuing to deal with the same local team.
