PwC has reported global revenues of USD $37.7bn for the year ending 30 June 2017, up 7% compared to the previous year (USD $35.9bn).
PwC needed 8% growth to be able to overtake Deloitte as the largest accountancy network globally.
The network also reported 6% growth in headcount with a total of 236,235 employee reported for FY17.
The fastest growing region, according to PwC, was Central and Eastern Europe (13%), followed by Asia-Pacific (10%), the Americas (7%), Middle East and Africa (4%) and Western Europe (4%).
In terms of service lines, advisory grew by 6.3%, while assurance and tax grew by 4.5% and 4.2% respectively.
