Mazars South Africa has merged with two offices from the PKF International network. Mazars took over the offices in Bloemfontein and Pretoria.

The Pretoria practice counts five partners and 52 staff, while the Bloemfontein office has three partners and 45 staff.

In the last year, Mazars has added five offices to its network in South Africa. With a total of 21 partners and directors and 220 staff joining the firm, Mazars now has 79 partners and 900 staff in the country.

A statement by the Mazars said that these mergers combined with organic growth have allowed its South African network to grow by 30% in the last year.

Mazars South Africa national chairman, and co-chief executive of Mazars Global Group, Hilton Saven said: "Mazars is pursuing a growth strategy that will facilitate enhanced and extended service capability for the clients it services in South Africa."
