KPMG Canada chief executive officer Bill Thomas has been appointed chair of KPMG’s Americas region.
He will continue on in his role as chief executive officer of KPMG Canada, a position he has held since 2009.

Thomas will replace John Veihmeyer, who was appointed KPMG’s global chairman after former global chairman Michael Andrew retired due to a medical condition earlier this month.
