Grant Thornton Canada has merged with greater Toronto accounting and advisory firm GMA.
GMA has 31 staff including three partners specialising in assurance, tax and advisory services.

Grant Thornton US has also appointed Nigel Smith as the firm’s financial services advisory leader.
Smith joins Grant Thornton US from Accenture, where he was recently leader of the North American financial services management consulting practice and was responsible for its financial services innovation centre in North America.
