Ernst & Young Germany has acquired international supply chain management consultancy J&M Management Consulting.
J&M Management Consulting is said to generate €50m in turnover and is to be integrated into E&Y Germany.
The acquisition will increase E&Y’s advisory capability to 1,400 professionals and add to the existing €230m in turnover.
The deal is still subject to approval by the anti-trust authorities and E&Y said the integration should be completed by June 2013. The executive board members of J&M Management Consulting, the two founders Frank Jenner and Andreas Müller, and Christoph Kilger, will become partners of E&Y Germany.
Markus Schweizer, E&Y advisory leader said: "With the acquisition of J&M Management Consulting AG, we have enhanced our position in the important supply chain market which means we can offer our clients and J&M’s existing clients a more comprehensive set of advisory capabilities."
