MHA, a member of Baker Tilly International in the UK and Ireland, has appointed James Smith as the head of global mobility.
Smith brings nearly two decades of experience from major professional services firms to his new role at MHA.

In his new position, Smith will be at the forefront of steering teams that address the complexities of maintaining an international workforce.
His responsibilities will encompass a range of areas including social security, immigration, employment law, as well as reward and benefits systems.

In September 2024, MHA appointed five new members.
The new recruits are placement student Ethan Donald and graduates Kate Wolska, Emily McLauchlan, Katie McLeod, and Jonathan Shek.
Under the guidance of MHA audit and accounts manager Louise Smith, the new trainees started their roles at the firm’s Carden Place offices in Aberdeen.
Since 1995, the MHA Aberdeen office trained over 50 placement students and graduates at its Carden Place offices.
