Dean Curtis is corporate finance and deal advisory partner in its Manchester office.

Andrew Collier joined Menzies as technical director in November 2022.

He oversees audit quality, compliance activity, and provides support on complex reporting matters. Andrew was involved in securing the company’s PIE auditor registration with the Financial Reporting Council during its merger with Beever and Struthers.

Grant joined Menzies in October 2025 following time spent as a partner at PwC and Gerald Edelmen, where he led property sector work.

He has more than 20 years of experience, guiding real estate investment firms, private equity-backed businesses, and technology companies in London and Thames Valley through regulatory reviews and due diligence exercises.

Shillam joined via the Beever & Struthers merger, having previously started there as a trainee in 2014.

He manages not-for-profit clients as well as social housing portfolios, with responsibility for external audits, service charge oversight, consultancy work, regulatory investigations, and grant compliance for Homes England and Greater London Authority.

Like George Shillam, Hatchman comes from Beever & Struthers where she worked since 2010.

She handles audits for housing associations; her role covers grant assurance reviews, service charge examinations and PIE audits, and she also contributes to staff development across both Birmingham and London offices.

The Deal Advisory team at Menzies also sees two new partners as national coverage expands across South East and North West regions.

David Ellis joins the Leatherhead office as deal advisory partner after serving as corporate finance partner at Azets. He has advised on acquisitions, sales and other business transactions including the €17m sale of Defluo to Kanalservicegruppe (part of Ufenau Capital Partners).

Curtis also joined through the Beever & Struthers merger. He brings more than 18 years of experience supporting entrepreneurs with corporate deals such as business sales, acquisitions, and growth fundraising.

Menzies managing partner Simon Massey said: “These senior appointments mark a significant milestone in Menzies’ continued momentum. By expanding our leadership across Audit & Assurance, Deal Advisory and Restructuring & Insolvency, we are strengthening the depth of expertise available to our clients and accelerating the development of our Strategic Advisory offering.

“The continued expansion of our Deal Advisory team is central to this, enabling us to support clients through every stage of their business lifecycle – from growth and funding to transactions and beyond.”
