Taherian joins the company with almost 20 years of experience. As head of AI, he will lead Grant Thornton’s company-wide AI strategy and its rollout across service lines, with a focus on embedding AI into day-to-day operations and client delivery.

As head of transformation, Coulis will be responsible for driving technology adoption and change management initiatives across the organisation.

Corona, as CTO, will oversee the company’s overall technology strategy and execution. His remit spans enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, data and analytics, infrastructure and AI.

Grant Thornton said the three leaders will play “critical roles” in advancing its technology modernisation, embedding AI throughout the organisation and helping clients improve efficiency and innovation.

It added that the new appointees will work alongside chief product officer Alpa Lally, who joined the organisation in late 2025.

According to the company, these moves build on Grant Thornton’s ongoing multi-year investment in technology and innovation as it develops AI-enabled capabilities and updates service delivery across its global platform.

This includes recent investment in upskilling its multinational workforce.

Grant Thornton chief information officer Mike Kempe said: “These are exceptional leaders whose experience and vision will help move our technology team and the firm forward.

“Salman’s ability to turn AI ambition into real-world results, Tom’s expertise in transformation and change management and Justin’s leadership in enterprise technology – alongside Alpa’s product leadership – are helping us embed advanced capabilities across our multinational platform and deliver meaningful impact for our clients.”
