Grant Thornton Advisors has announced the expansion of its multinational platform with the inclusion of Kevane Grant Thornton, a professional services firm in Puerto Rico.

This move brings the platform’s total number of firms to 17, covering regions in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.

Kevane Grant Thornton has a history of 50 years and a team of over 200.

This marks the second deal for the multinational platform in the Americas in this month, alongside Grant Thornton Brazil.

The transaction is expected to be completed later in the year.

The multinational platform will remain part of the Grant Thornton International network, which has member firms in over one hundred fifty markets worldwide.

In addition to Brazil, Kevane Grant Thornton will become part of a group of other platform companies operating across the Americas.

The platform members include Grant Thornton Cayman, as well as Auxis, a business modernisation and outsourcing company with a workforce of over 1,400, mainly situated in Colombia and Costa Rica.

The platform also features Stax, a commercial due diligence and value creation firm located in Boston, US.

Beyond the Americas, the Grant Thornton Advisors platform includes companies in France, Spain, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, the Channel Islands, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and Liechtenstein.

There are plans to further expand into New Zealand and Poland.
