WLW’s origins date back to the mid-1980s, founded by Robert Wirth and Steven Lowe.
Glenn Wissemeier joined the firm in 2004 after a tenure at Grant Thornton and became a partner in 2006, subsequently adding his name to the firm.
Beth Herman’s partnership began in 2009, following her roles at Grant Thornton and Cincinnati Bell.
Glenn Wissemeier said: “Joining forces with GBQ is a natural next step in our own story.
“Our clients are gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience of a Top 100 CPA firm while maintaining the personalised service and attention they have come to know and expect from working with the WLW team.”
This move follows GBQ’s recent internal promotions earlier in January 2025.
This includes promotion of forensic and dispute advisory services director Mallory Ashbrook, IT assurance and business advisory services director Steve Boston, and assurance and business advisory services director Tobin Perrill to partner status.
