FYI, a platform specialising in document management and process automation for accountants, has appointed George Brown as senior client success consultant in the UK.

Brown began his career in IT before moving into accountancy, ultimately serving as finance manager at the Cancer Research Institute at Cambridge University.

Later, Brown transitioned to a technology-oriented role at Virtual Cabinet, where he spent more than ten years, advancing from the helpdesk to the position of technical key account manager, where he managed key client relationships.

He later worked as a consultant for mid-to-large accountancy firms, assisting them in enhancing their document management systems, including solutions from FYI and Intapp.

In his new position at FYI, Brown will oversee the client onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to full utilisation of the platform.

Brown said: “I’ve seen first-hand how poor implementation can undermine even the best software. My job is to make sure that doesn’t happen at FYI. I’ll be working closely with firms from day one to ensure they know what’s happening, why it’s happening, and how to make the most of it.
