Forvis Mazars has appointed Rudi Lang as its new financial services industry leader for the Asia-Pacific (APAC), effective immediately.
Lang, a company veteran with more than 27 years of experience, will operate from Singapore.
At Forvis Mazars, he previously served as the Financial Services Global head in London and as a member of the Group Executive Board, overseeing Sustainability Services.
His background includes collaborations with European regulators and public authorities on various regulatory projects, audits, and risk management assignments.
During his career, Lang has played a role in Prudential Capital Assessment Reviews and Asset Quality Reviews for European banks and has provided advisory services to UK and European regulators.
Before his UK assignment, he held several positions within the company’s German operations.
In his new role, Lang will focus on enhancing client relationships, encourage regional collaboration among member firms, and introduce innovative solutions to clients.
He will also focus on expanding the Financial Services portfolio, incorporating areas such as sustainability, ESG, data and analytics, compliance, and innovation.
Forvis Mazars Singapore managing partner and Group Governing Board member Rick Chan said: “As the financial services industry evolves, particularly in sustainability, regulatory compliance, and innovative financial solutions, Rudi’s leadership will be pivotal in driving our strategy, strengthening our market position, and ultimately driving growth in the region.”
In January 2025, Forvis Mazars Group appointed Jennifer Allison as the new office managing partner in Edinburgh, succeeding Laura Clarkson.
Allison is tasked with driving the firm’s business strategy in the region and leading a team of more than 100 professionals.
