Deloitte UK has elevated 60 high performers to the position of partner, taking its total partner count to 1,356.
This marks a 25% reduction from the previous year, when the firm promoted 81 as partners.
The tax and legal division saw the most promotions, with 17 individuals stepping up to partner roles.
This was followed by 15 promotions within audit and assurance, 14 in technology and transformation, and another 14 in strategy, risk and transactions advisory. Notably, 40% of the new partners are based outside of London.
In a significant shift, Deloitte has also transitioned 77 individuals from salaried to equity partner status, more than doubling last year’s figure of 29.
This change is said to be part of a broader strategy to reshape the partnership structure to power the firm’s future expansion.

Deloitte UK managing partner, people and purpose Jackie Henry said: “We’re committed to building a diverse leadership team and so we’re pleased to have exceeded our 2025 target for women, and met our ethnic minority target. However, we recognise there’s more work to do, particularly in increasing Black representation at partner level where we have not met our 2025 target. We are focused on strengthening our talent pipeline at all levels and embedding a culture of inclusion throughout our firm, ensuring everyone can thrive, regardless of background.”
Deloitte UK senior partner and CEO Richard Houston said: “Our partnership remains critical to our firm’s culture and success in the market. Alongside our annual partner promotions, we have significantly increased the number of equity partners.”

Of these hires, 60% are women and 30% come from ethnic minority backgrounds.
Deloitte UK said it will publish updated diversity targets in its Annual Review, which is expected on 30 September 2025.
