Deloitte Romania has expanded its leadership team with three director-level promotions, effective from September 2026.

The company promoted Andrei Evi from Financial Advisory, Elena Barbu from Audit and Assurance and Dan-Alexandru Marin from the cybersecurity team within the Consulting practice.

Evi, who has been elevated to a financial advisory director role, has more than 15 years of experience in banking and finance across Romania and Austria, as well as a background in law.

At Deloitte, he has led teams working on risk and regulatory projects for financial institutions in Romania and central and eastern Europe.

Barbu, who has been promoted as the new Audit and Assurance director, joined Deloitte Romania in 2019.

She has led audit engagements for multinational and entrepreneurial companies in retail, consumer products, distribution, manufacturing and healthcare.

Her 12 years of experience covers audits conducted under Romanian Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards, as well as advisory work on complex accounting matters, mergers, spin-offs and financial statement preparation.

Marin has nearly 20 years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity. At Deloitte Romania, he has conducted cybersecurity assessments for several institutions.
