Deloitte Ireland has partnered with cloud accounting platform AccountsIQ to assist medium-sized enterprises with automating their financial reporting procedures.
Under the agreement, the two organisations will work jointly to assist Deloitte clients seeking finance systems that offer improved scalability and data-driven insights.

AccountsIQ provides cloud-based software that encompasses multi-entity financial management, reporting functions and business intelligence tools.
The system incorporates automation features intended to help finance departments streamline internal processes and gain clearer visibility into overall financial performance.
The collaboration addresses the operational challenges that arise as businesses expand and face increasingly complex reporting demands.
Deloitte Ireland highlighted rising demand for technology upgrades among companies generating between $34m (€30m) and €150m in revenue, particularly those outgrowing spreadsheet-reliant workflows or entry-level software.
Deloitte Ireland partner Ian Whitefoot said: “In recent years, we have seen a significant increase in the attractiveness of Irish indigenous businesses to private equity investors in Ireland, the UK and the US.
“Typically, when institutional or strategic investors buy in to owner-founded businesses, there is a requirement to enhance management and financial reporting.
“Spreadsheets alone are unlikely to do the job for long. AccountsIQ offers an intuitive and affordable solution for many of these companies.”
Through the alliance, the companies plan to support mid-market businesses as they scale, raise capital and develop their finance operations.
The initiative combines Deloitte Ireland’s cross-sector advisory experience with AccountsIQ’s cloud-based financial management software.
