Accounting and consultancy practice Crowe has launched Crowe: Our Next Era (CroweONE), a shared ownership scheme for eligible employees.
The employee ownership initiative was developed with investment firm KKR, which made an equity investment in Crowe in August 2026.

KKR partner Chris Harrington said: “Broad-based ownership is about giving employees the opportunity to share directly in the value they help create while also giving them a greater voice in shaping the company’s future.
“Crowe already has a deeply collaborative culture, and we believe CroweONE can help build on that foundation by working to strengthen the connection between its people, clients and long-term growth.”
CroweONE aims to support an ownership culture by improving employees’ understanding of the business and giving them a greater role in shaping Crowe’s future, according to the accounting practice.
Employees will not need to make an upfront investment to participate.
The programme offers the opportunity to benefit from Crowe’s growth alongside existing pay and benefits. New employees will also be able to join the scheme.
Crowe CEO Steven Strammello said: “KKR’s approach to broad-based ownership, employee engagement and alignment is unparalleled and immediately resonated with us because it builds on the principles that have guided Crowe for more than 80 years.
“CroweONE empowers our people to participate more directly in the firm’s success while giving new meaning to our value of Stewardship.
“The sense of shared ownership enables us to deepen trusted client relationships, deliver the highest-quality outcomes and create lasting value for our clients and our firm.”
CroweONE is part of a wider group of employee-focused initiatives.
These include the Forward Together Awards, which provided special cash payments in August to recognise employees’ contributions to the company’s future, as well as a record bonus pool announced earlier in the summer.
Crowe is also working to establish an assistance fund for employees experiencing unexpected financial difficulties and is introducing a new employee recognition programme.
