
Alvarez & Marsal Tax (A&M Tax), part of global professional services company Alvarez & Marsal, has hired three new managing directors in Australia.
This move is part of A&M Tax’s strategic growth and capabilities expansion, aimed at meeting the growing demand for global tax advisory services with local expertise.
The new managing directors, Jayde Thompson, Paul Gallagher, and Shahzeb Panhwar, join the firm following the addition of 60 new practitioners.
They bring experience across various sectors, such as oil and gas, mining, consumer goods, infrastructure, technology, media, telecoms, and sports.
Jayde Thompson advises foreign investors and Australian corporations on complex tax modelling, structuring, and compliance issues.
Her work focuses on the OECD BEPS Action Plan and the recent Pillar Two initiative for implementing a global minimum tax.
