She worked with several of the business’ largest mandates, delivering audit, accounting and advisory support to owner-managed enterprises, scaling businesses and academy trusts.

Walpole said: “I am very proud to be made a partner at Albert Goodman.

“I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients and colleagues since joining the firm, and I am looking forward to continuing to support the audit team and our clients as they navigate an increasingly complex economic environment.”

A chartered certified accountant, Walpole has accumulated more than ten years of audit experience, split between professional practice and roles within corporate finance teams.

According to Albert Goodman, this mix of external and in-house work gives her a “well-rounded understanding” of audit from both adviser and client perspectives, which she applies across her portfolio in the South West.

Albert Goodman managing partner Iain McVicar said: “Lizzie’s appointment is very well deserved.

“She is a highly respected member of the audit team and has consistently demonstrated technical excellence alongside a strong commitment to client service.

“Her experience brings real value to our clients, and we are delighted to see her take this next step.”

Albert Goodman has a long-standing presence in the South West of England, serving organisations of varying sizes with audit, accountancy and business advisory services from its offices in Taunton, Bristol, Yeovil, Weston-super-Mare and Weymouth.
