RSM is pleased to announce the launch of its newest member firm, RSM Canada, with an office in the heart of Toronto’s financial district. With 37 partners and nearly 300 professionals, RSM Canada has served more than 5,000 middle market clients over the past eight years.
RSM International CEO Jean Stephens said: “We are excited to welcome RSM Canada to our network. This firm, together with our expansion plans, strengthens our ability to support our substantial existing North American client base, and enables us to realise exciting new opportunities in this important economy for clients across the globe.”
Harry Blum will serve as Managing Partner of RSM Canada, which encompasses RSM Canada, the Canadian member of the RSM International Network providing audit and tax services, and RSM Canada Consulting LP, a newly formed partnership of RSM Canada and RSM US. RSM Canada Consulting LP will provide expanded consulting services, such as management consulting, IT infrastructure and business applications, and security, privacy and risk to clients in Canada.
RSM US managing partner and CEO Joe Adams said: “We are pleased to take this important step with RSM Canada. The consulting services currently offered by RSM US will be a strong complement to the services offered by RSM Canada. Together we will be a first-choice advisor delivering the power of being understood to middle market leaders. We are excited about the opportunities this creates for the clients, partners and staff of both firms.”
RSM’s overarching strategy includes expansion beyond Toronto to key markets across Canada, with both fully integrated RSM Canada offices in major metropolitan areas and a robust alliance of firms in other markets to support client needs.
RSM Canada managing partner Harry Blum said: “We look forward to building RSM Canada. I believe we have a very strong value proposition. Canada is a country full of middle market businesses, and RSM is the global leader in serving the middle market. It’s a great fit.”
As part of RSM, RSM Canada and its clients will benefit from access to more than 41,400 professionals in over 120 countries around the world and expertise tailored to the middle market.
