The firm was established in 1985, under the name of Jiménez Andreoli y Asociados, SA. Today, Despacho Jiménez y Guzmán Asociados S.A is a firm of Public and Private Accountants providing audit and accounting services throughout Costa Rica, to several of the same clients serviced by the firm’s predecessor. Co-Managing Partners, Mario Rivera Jiménez and Magda Guzmán Fallas oversee the firm’s operations.
Rivera advises that Despacho Jiménez y Guzmán Asociados provides audit, accounting and tax consulting services, “being aware that timely analysis of accounting, financial and tax information is indispensable for decision-making. Additionally, (the firm) has alliances with very competent companies, with whom we can provide services related to Transfer Pricing, Tax Litigation and Legal Advice.” Their clients represent a variety of industries, including business and construction, industrial, service companies, solidarist associations, and non-profit entities, to name a few.
