Akser, a London-based tax partner, started her career as a senior scientist at Procter & Gamble, where she worked on new products, materials and manufacturing technologies.

In her new position, she will focus on expanding BDO’s manufacturing sector expertise, working with clients and the business’ global manufacturing network.

Dulay is a risk advisory services partner based in BDO’s Birmingham office.

During his ten years at the company he has used his public sector experience to support sectors such as healthcare, local government, policing and sport.

As national head of public sector, Dulay will oversee the development of BDO’s public sector growth strategy.

Morahan is an audit partner at BDO Ireland and has led the company’s global TMT division since 2022.

She has spent almost 30 years at BDO, advising clients in the technology, telecommunications, pharmaceutical and medtech sectors.

In her new role, Morahan will draw on her knowledge of the UK and Irish markets to develop BDO’s offering.

BDO Growth, Regions & Markets head Kyla Bellingall said: “As the economic landscape continues to evolve at pace, businesses across the mid-market and beyond need advisers who are able to combine deep sector insights with the agility to respond to changing opportunities and challenges.

“These appointments bring together an exceptional breadth of expertise from across BDO UK and Ireland and demonstrate our commitment to helping businesses navigate an increasingly complex environment.

“Ece, Gurpreet and Teresa bring a deep understanding of the challenges businesses within these sectors face.

“Together with their leadership and sector knowledge, they will play an important role in strengthening collaboration across BDO, helping clients seize opportunities, navigate change and achieve sustainable growth.”
