BGM has acquired certified public accounting and business consulting practice R. L. DePanfilis & Company, based in Connecticut, US.

Established in 1979, R. L. DePanfilis & Company delivers taxation, accounting, auditing and management consulting services to corporate clients, private individuals, estates and trusts.
The company’s scope of work spans tax research, planning and compliance, as well as multi-state and international tax filings.
Its assurance and consulting capabilities encompass agreed-upon procedures, audits, business succession planning, compilations, due diligence, estate and trust tax filings, financial reporting and financial reviews.
Under the terms of the agreement, R. L. DePanfilis & Company will adopt and operate under the BGM brand. Partners David W. Gibbs and Kenneth T. Miller, together with their staff, will remain based at the company’s Norwalk office to manage client accounts.

The combination provides Minnesota-based BGM’s wider client base with access to additional personnel and technical expertise in Connecticut, supporting the company’s service capacity across New England and the US.
