BHP, a UK-based accountancy practice operating under the Sumer Group, has added Allen, West and Foster, an accountancy and business advisory operator based in South Yorkshire.
The merger broadens BHP’s reach across the Yorkshire region, strengthening its capacity to provide professional services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the area.

Under the terms of the arrangement, Allen, West and Foster will remain at its existing Sheffield base.
Clients of the company will now have access to Sumer’s range of professional services spanning audit, tax, advisory and business support, while continuing to work with the local team they have previously dealt with.
The deal brings 18 professionals into BHP’s ranks, offering the company’s clients a wider range of specialist expertise from across the Sumer Group, which now employs over 3,000 people across more than 70 offices nationwide.
