Under the terms of the transaction, Fisher Phillips will adopt the HW Fisher brand. Company partners Steve Frost, Caroline Harvey, Anthony Ornstein and Michael Sparrow will also join HW Fisher.
Frost said: “This marks an exciting next chapter, and one that is the natural next step for Fisher Phillips.
“Becoming part of HW Fisher, and the wider Sumer Group, doesn’t just mean our clients can access a broader range of services but also means our fantastic team will have the opportunity to become part of a wider, talented group of colleagues.
“We are pleased to join a firm that shares our core focus in championing SMEs [small and medium-sized enterprises] and are excited to see what opportunities this partnership creates.”
The integration broadens HW Fisher’s geographic reach in the capital, incorporates specialist personnel into the company and extends the range of its technical services.
HW Fisher managing partner Andrew Rich said: “I am delighted to welcome Steve, Caroline, Anthony, Michael and the wider Fisher Phillips team to HW Fisher.
“They are a natural fit for our firm, bringing complementary sector specialisms and deep service strengths that enhance and elevate the scope of business solutions we offer to our clients.”
In April this year, HW Fisher picked Daphne Hemingway to lead its VAT practice.
