The company assists organisations that conduct business within or alongside China, specifically supporting clients with regulatory compliance, cross-border transactions and complicated commercial conditions.
WSP enters the Abacus alliance through Abacus One, a dedicated membership tier designed for individual practitioners aiming to scale their practices.
Abacus Worldwide chief operating officer Jessica L. Levin said: “This marks an important return for our association in China, a market that is central to so many of our members’ cross-border relationships.
“WSP brings the local expertise and international perspective needed to support that activity in a meaningful way, particularly for our ASPAC [Asia-Pacific] firms working closely with Chinese partners.
“Their presence strengthens our ability to connect members where it matters most and support business across one of the world’s most active economic regions.”
Abacus recently expanded its network by adding Bolivian accounting practice Horady.
Based in Cochabamba, Horady offers audit, accountancy and business advisory services.
The Bolivian practice comprises a team of professionals with up to 30 years of experience directing projects at major global organisations including the ‘Big Four’ and other prominent companies, Abacus said in a statement at the time.
Last month, Abacus Worldwide added Indian business Finactro to its network. Headquartered in Bangalore, Finactro is an accounting advisory and finance outsourcing practice.
