Deloitte has expanded its AI Controls and Assurance services and solutions to support organisations as they adopt, scale and supervise AI across their operations.
The company said that its extended offering is structured to provide support across the full AI lifecycle.

It added that the service combines advisory and assurance services on governance frameworks and AI-enabled transformation, with the aim of helping company’s in managing risk while extracting value from AI.
Deloitte US Assurance leader Frank Milano said: “Organisations are deploying AI systems that make critical decisions, but the gap between ambition and assurance is widening.
“Deloitte helps organisations close the gap by assessing what their AI actually does and developing governance that enables innovation instead of blocking it.”
Deloitte said the expanded capabilities deliver integrated solutions in core areas such as AI governance, controls and risk management.
The firm will supports organisations in setting up AI governance frameworks designed to balance innovation with appropriate control.
According to Deloitte, the broadened services also help organisations strengthen their own assurance functions.
This includes AI-enabled internal audit, risk management and controls, as well as updated accounting and reporting processes.
Deloitte said it works with technology providers and hyperscalers to build governance, controls and compliance requirements into AI solutions from the outset.
The aim is to help organisations adopt AI with embedded safeguards and the ability to scale.
The company added that it continues to engage with standard setters and other regulatory bodies to help organisations demonstrate the reliability of their AI tools.
It added that its AI Controls and Assurance capabilities are aligned with its Trustworthy AI framework, embedding governance, compliance and transparency throughout the AI lifecycle.
