Caseware, an AI platform for assurance and financial reporting, is set to launch Financial Reporting Visualisation Agent in the Netherlands.
The new capability will allow accounting and audit professionals to produce auditable financial charts and visualisations within Caseware engagements using natural-language requests.
Access deeper industry intelligence
Experience unmatched clarity with a single platform that combines unique data, AI, and human expertise.
The feature is built on Caseware Verity, the company’s AI intelligence and orchestration layer for audit and assurance engagements.
The Netherlands release marks one of the first Verity-powered functions to be embedded directly in the financial reporting workflow for customers in the country.
Users can describe the type of output they need, such as a revenue trend analysis or an expense breakdown, and the agent generates an auditable chart based on engagement data.
It works directly with trial balance and engagement information, automatically identifying relevant accounts, periods and visual formats.
The system automatically selects the correct accounts, periods and visual formats, then displays a preview for approval.
The human-in-the-loop step is intended to keep users in control of how visualisations are applied within engagements.
Caseware CEO David Marquis said: “AI is creating an opportunity to fundamentally improve how audit and accounting professionals work with data.
“With Verity, we are embedding intelligent capabilities directly into the workflows professionals use every day.
“The Financial Reporting Visualisation Agent helps firms move from data to insight faster while maintaining the transparency, governance and human oversight that are essential in assurance and financial reporting.”
The technology company noted that the tool offers full traceability back to the originating trial balance data, enabling users to follow each visualisation through to its underlying figures.
The company added that users can also refine or modify charts through conversational interaction, adjusting views or parameters without leaving the Caseware environment.
The agent can also incorporate supplementary data sources into visualisations, broadening the range of information that can be reflected in financial charts, the company added.
