PIA Group adds VDV Accountants and Groupe MDS to expand Belux reach

The PIA Group has widened its network in the Belgium and Luxembourg (Belux) region with the integration of VDV Accountants and Groupe MDS.

VDV Accountants has been active for around 25 years in East Flanders. The company specialises in tax, guidance and personalised support for entrepreneurs, liberal professions and self-employed clients.

Groupe MDS, which is “rooted” in Brussels, Flemish Brabant and Walloon Brabant, has been operating for nearly three decades.

It serves a varied client base that includes small and medium-sized enterprises, consultants, industrial businesses and international companies.

With these two additions, the PIA Group strengthens its position in East Flanders and the broader Brussels area.

The addition of the two companies brings the PIA Group’s network in the Belux region to 96 offices and 56 office brands.

The move is in line with the group’s stated aim of reinforcing locally rooted businesses in a market undergoing rapid digital change.

By joining the PIA Group, clients of VDV Accountants and Groupe MDS gain access to a wider network of specialists.

This includes expertise in CFO-as-a-service, corporate finance, digital transformation, legal services, VAT and wealth planning.

The integration also brings new possibilities for staff within both companies, including broader knowledge sharing, access to specialised support and additional career development options within an international organisation.

In February this year, the PIA Group acquired five companies in the same BeLux region.
