Javani has served as MSI Asia-Pacific Member Development director for nearly four years, where she worked with member companies and the MSI Secretariat to support collaboration and growth.

The appointment follows a recent leadership change at MSI. Javani succeeds Martin Scott, who took up the role last year.

The MSI Board has signalled its intention to provide continuity and stability for members through the transition and highlighted Javani’s familiarity with MSI’s membership and priorities.

MSI Board director Jeremy Beard said: “Pauline knows our members and our association very well, and the Board has every confidence in her abilities to lead MSI through this period.

“Our priority is continuity, and members can expect the same level of support, collaboration and opportunity they have always had from MSI.

“We look forward to working closely with Pauline in the months ahead.”

The association added that its MSI Secretariat team will continue to support members globally, deliver scheduled events and advance ongoing projects.

In September last year, the MSI Global Alliance grew its network by adding two accounting practices: Al Nuha International in Oman and Simplica in Switzerland.

Based in Muscat, Al Nuha International offers auditing, accounting and consulting services.

Simplica, based in Bern, offers accounting, audit, cloud computing, human resources and payroll, software consulting and tax advisory services.
