Deloitte has set up an AI Studio at its London campus in partnership with Google Cloud to help UK organisations deploy agentic systems.
The studio will act as a co‑development centre where Deloitte teams and clients build and implement production-ready agentic solutions.
Access deeper industry intelligence
Experience unmatched clarity with a single platform that combines unique data, AI, and human expertise.
Scheduled to open in late July, the facility will target consumer products, financial services, healthcare and life sciences, the public sector, retail and telecommunications (TMT).
For retail, the focus will be on moving beyond basic generative AI chatbots towards agentic tools that can overhaul customer journeys.
In healthcare and TMT, work will look at how agentic AI can reshape business models and everyday operations.
Recently appointed Deloitte UK chief AI officer Hayley McKelvey said: “Our clients are looking for more than just productivity gains – they want AI that can take action and drive real-world business outcomes.
“With our new AI Studio and the continued investment in our people, we are providing the physical and technical infrastructure necessary to make agentic AI an industrial reality in the UK. This is about moving from curiosity to a new era of autonomous business operations.”
The studio will also run regular innovation labs, giving organisations the opportunity to design and test agentic AI solutions in roughly four weeks to shorten deployment timelines.
Google Cloud UK, Ireland and sub-Saharan Africa vice-president Maureen Costello said: “We are witnessing British organisations move their AI initiatives into production, building a new era of agentic AI that delivers tangible value.
“By launching this AI Studio and putting these advanced tools into the hands of 1,000 Deloitte specialists, Deloitte is ensuring that the UK remains at the heart of this technological journey.”
The launch extends Deloitte’s alliance with Google Cloud and is accompanied by an upskilling drive to train 1,000 UK AI and data specialists on Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise.
The certification scheme is intended to equip engineers to use Google’s latest agentic architecture for client projects.
