Accountancy firm MHA has appointed Steve Hale as a partner, bolstering its audit and advisory services at its Birmingham office.

Hale brings more than 30 years of industry experience, with significant knowledge in assurance and financial reporting.

MHA Midlands audit partner and chief operating officer Chris Barlow said: “Steve’s appointment is a key element to our long-term vision for growth across the Midlands area, bringing experience and further strengthening our local expertise.

“With offices in Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham, we have bold goals for the future direction of the firm across the Midlands region and this key appointment of Steve will be integral to us achieving these.

MHA, the UK member firm of Baker Tilly International, noted that Hale’s addition is anticipated to enhance MHA’s service delivery to a wide array of clients.

In his new position, Hale will assist clients from small owner-managed enterprises to large corporations, across multiple sectors, including automotive, technology, and manufacturing and engineering.
