Accounting giant EY has appointed Ove Svejstrup to the newly created role of markets leader in the Channel Islands.
This move comes as the company looks to boost the Channel Islands practice and meet the demand for non-audit services.

In his new role, Svejstrup will lead market activity for EY across the Channel Islands, supporting the growth of various service lines including assurance, extended assurance, technology risk, tax, and strategy and transactions.
Additionally, Svejstrup will oversee the company’s Climate Change and Sustainability service offerings to help clients receive integrated support to capitalise on emerging opportunities.
Ove said: “I am delighted to be stepping into this new markets leader role and working with our teams to fully utilise our global networks and deliver best practice services to our clients, and look forward to playing a part in the continued growth and development of the firm.”
Ove Svejstrup initially joined EY’s Guernsey office on a two-year secondment in 2012, then returned in 2016 as an assurance partner.
