“Although the situation remains challenging,
the government is undertaking various reforms and we can expect an
increasing number of national businesses to be ready to compete in
both regional and global markets in the not too distant future,”
BDO’s global head of network development Martin van Roekel
said.
Van Roekel said the establishment of the
Kosovo firm forms part of BDO’s growth plans in the region and the
network expects more firms to join in the area soon.
“Kosovo is growing fast, on all levels, and I
am optimistic that our new firm will be able to provide the
services its economy requires within a relatively short period of
time,” Van Roekel added.
