
TC Group, which offers accountancy and taxation services, has strengthened its foothold in Sussex through a merger with accountancy practice Gibson Appleby.
Gibson Appleby’s clients will now be handled from TC Group’s office located in Steyning, Sussex.
Group partner Chris Checkley said: “We are delighted that the partners, staff, and clients of Gibson Appleby are joining TC Group. They have a great reputation for providing high-quality personal service to their clients.
“Our primary focus will be to maintain a personal first-class service whilst becoming part of the group will allow us to provide a greater range of support and services to their clients.
“We are looking forward to building strong working relationships with Richard, Paul, Sarah, and the Gibson Appleby team.”

This follows the appointment of Stephen Watts as TC Group’s chief operating officer, who replaced Grant Bartholomew.
Meanwhile, Bartholomew transitioned to the role of executive chairman, responsible for heading the development of TC Group’s long term plans.
In September 2024, TC merged with Lincolnshire-based accountancy practice Brooks & Partners.
