SBP noted in a press statement that its choice to remain independently owned is proving to be a “key differentiator”.
A key development this year was the relocation of SBP’s Fraserburgh office to larger premises. The move improved accessibility and enhanced its regional presence, attracting skilled professionals and notable clients, the company added.
In response to increasing demand, the practice has expanded its workforce by 11% over the past six months, which has supported growth in various service areas including audit, tax planning, research and development claims, and consultancy.
Recent company initiatives include the introduction of a salary sacrifice pension scheme, enhanced professional development opportunities and “flexible” working arrangements.

The company also revealed that it is actively exploring new locations for expansion.
SBP managing partner John Hannah said: “Our success is rooted in relationships with our clients, our staff and our communities.
“While the accountancy sector undergoes significant change, we remain focused on what matters most – delivering tailored, high-quality advice, investing in our team and maintaining our independence.
