
PwC Romania has appointed Daniel Anghel as its new country managing partner, effective from 1 October 2024.
Anghel will succeed Dinu Bumbăcea, who has served in the role for the past three years.
Bumbăcea will continue to contribute to the firm as a partner and advisory leader.
Daniel Anghel, a long-standing member of PwC Romania since 1997, has been leading the tax and legal department for the past six years.
During this tenure, Anghel managed complex projects for both multinational and local companies across various sectors.
Anghel has expertise in taxation and has been instrumental in legislative projects that significantly impact the business environment, particularly in the tax domain.

Established after 1989 as the first large professional services firm in the country, PwC Romania boasts a team of more than 800 professionals, including 26 partners.
The firm has expanded its operations with offices in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara and Chișinău, extending its services to Moldova as well.
Last month, PwC Academy Middle East and United Arab Emirates-based financial advisory firm Corporate Group signed a memorandum of understanding to bridge the gap between academic learning and corporate practice.
