DFK International member firms from the Middle East have met in Jordan to explore ways of developing more positive cross border relations in the region despite heightened unrest in Syria, Egypt and the Palestinian territories.
Firms from Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates met for the annual conference of DFK Middle East & Africa (DFK MEA) and agreed on strengthening business ties within the region.
DFK International executive director Martin Sharp said: "At the meeting, the firms agreed to build greater business links within the region and increase their support for cross-border investment opportunities. The group also set a clear goal of establishing a regional office to enhance co-operation and help member firms share their knowledge, expertise and skills."
DFK MEA has 26 offices in 11 countries within the Middle East and Africa region.
