New international network launched

A new UK-headquartered international accountancy network, Kudos International, has been set up by Michael Scott and Alun Morgan.

Scott and Morgan worked in training and consulting for accounting firms prior to setting up the new venture.

Morgan said the idea to set up a network came up following years of experience of working with firms around the world on improving the quality of their audit work and their compliance with International Standards of Auditing.

Morgan told International Accounting Bulletin the network currently has three member candidates and is looking to have 10 to 20 members globally in the next year or so.

Kudos International is said to comply with the network definition by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and is currently in the process of becoming a member of the Forum of Firms.
