KPMG UK has acquired Nunwood, an independent consultancy specialising in customer experience management and feedback technology.
Nunwood, which had annual revenues of £8m in 2014, was founded in 1996 and advises companies across the retail, telecoms, financial and leisure industries from its Leeds and London offices.
KPMG UK believes the acquisition will enable the firm to offer a full-service customer management programme to its clients, from mapping the customer journey to measuring ongoing feedback.
The team is led by KPMG UK partner Mark Guinibert and will comprise approximately 150 members of staff, boosted by Nunwood’s 80 employees.
KPMG UK head of advisory Richard Fleming described the move as strategic and said it will facilitate the firm to be truly customer-centric, allowing clients to make decision ¬based on real-time customer feedback¬¬.
Commenting on the acquisition, KPMG director and Nunwood co-founder Phil Rushfirth said: "With KPMG’s support we will be able to meet the growing demand from current and prospective clients and extend our ability to provide them with the technology and advice that drives improved customer service."
