HLB International has added firm Blömer accountants en adviseurs to its network in the Netherlands.

Based in Nieuwegein, bordering Utrecht, Blömer counts 80 members of staff and offers audit, accountancy, tax and consulting services.

The firm is the fourth to become part of HLB Netherlands, alongside HLB Van Daal & Partners, HLB Den Hartog and HLB Nannen.

Overall, the network employs 480 members of staff and reports a turnover of €48m ($55m) in the country.

Blömer partner Hans Odik said membership of HLB would enable the firm to augment its services to international clients.

"Our primary focus is on EU countries, however markets outside Europe are becoming increasingly important sale areas for our clients," he explained.

The latest addition marks the second for HLB this year. The network added Indian firm Roy Varghese & Associates to its network in January.
