Deloitte has signed a global value-added reseller (VAR) agreement with SAP, a German based enterprise software and software-related services provider.
The agreement makes Deloitte member firms SAP providers, enabling them to license SAP offerings directly to their clients.

Such offerings include SAP software and SAP maintenance, as well as industry-specific pre-configured solutions, implementation services, and application maintenance support services.
Deloitte consulting SAP practice leader Jan Waals said that the firm’s clients were looking for creative approaches to lower the cost of ownership, accelerate benefits and preserve high quality through the implementation of SAP solutions.
"Participation in the global VAR program will provide an additional way for us to fulfill these new needs," he added.
This agreement is the latest in a long standing partnership between Deloitte and SAP, and the international network counts 11,000 SAP practitioners in 135 countries.
