Baker Tilly Malaysia has launched a ‘Belt and Road Desk’ in order to respond to the increasing trade and business opportunities between China and Malaysia.

The desk is in direct response to the Belt and Road Initiative launched in 2013 by China to strengthen connectivity and co-operation between China and Eurasian countries. China’s trade with Malaysia is believed to have totalled approximately US$100bn in 2016, according to Chinese president XI Jinping.
