Moore Australia has appointed Ilonka Spaeth as its new national head of technical tax and business advisory.

Previously, Spaeth held the position of director of public groups, law interpretation at the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

With more than 18 years of experience in both advisory and in-house capacities, her career includes significant roles in professional services organisations, as well as a prior tenure as associate director at Moore Australia (WA) in Perth.

Moore Australia chair David Tomasi said: “Ilonka’s technical expertise and her experience within the ATO will enhance our national advisory capability, supporting staff across the country to deliver robust, high-quality services.

Spaeth expressed her enthusiasm about rejoining Moore and contributing to its national strategy.

Based in Perth, Spaeth will collaborate with teams across Australia, providing technical leadership and guidance to enhance client service delivery.
