K1x, a tax data operations solution provider, has entered into a partnership with Juno to provide tax automation solutions.

As part of the partnership, a new integration has been introduced so that K‑1 information can be transferred into the Juno tax preparation, review and advisory platform automatically using K1x’s patented technology.

During busy season, many tax teams devote substantial effort to keying K‑1 details by hand, addressing differences identified during review, and switching between tools that do not connect well.

The integration is intended to reduce these issues by supporting an end-to-end workflow, from K‑1 intake through to return preparation, within a single process.

Juno founder Dave Haase said: “In my own practice, K-1s were always the moment everything fell apart. One complex package could derail an entire day.

“Seeing K1x connect directly into Juno feels like the solution I spent years hoping someone would build. It is the kind of tool I desperately needed in my own firm, and now it finally exists.”

K1x captures and checks complex K‑1 data at a field level and then passes it into Juno.

Within Juno, both standard and additional data elements are made available in workpapers and in tax software.

This approach is expected to shorten preparation time, reduce review-related exceptions and limit repeated work at peak periods.

It may also help companies manage more complex engagements, protect margins without increasing headcount, and allow more time for advisory activity and ongoing client communication.

K1x chief revenue officer Ken Powell said: “For too long, tax professionals have relied on disconnected tools just to keep work moving.

“By combining Juno’s tax automation with K1x’s data extraction, we are turning tax documents into clean, usable data so firms can focus on delivering value.”
