Grant Thornton UK has strengthened its restructuring, pensions and debt advisory (RPDA) practice with the appointment of Debbie King as Partner.

Debbie King, an advisor and insolvency practitioner, has experience in both the mid-market and large corporate sectors.

She has a track record of handling numerous “high-profile” matters and is proficient in advising businesses and their stakeholders on strategic options and contingency planning.

In the new role, she will focus on leading significant cases and fostering the practice’s growth, both in the UK and on an international scale.

Her responsibilities will also encompass enhancing the practice’s engagement with lenders and legal advisers, as well as supporting people management and team development.

King’s expertise in equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives is said to be integral to her leadership.
