Grant Thornton UK has elevated two professionals, Sreekanth Gaddamanugu and Dylan Rees, to partner positions within its audit practice.

Sreekanth Gaddamanugu, operating out of Birmingham, will be responsible for heading and steering the growth of the local private audit business.

He has worked with listed entities and growing  mid-market firms in domestic and international markets, with a focus on India.

Gaddamanugu has expertise in several fields, mainly the automotive and industrial manufacturing sectors.

Gaddamanugu said: “I’m looking forward to working with clients to discuss their growth ambitions, highlighting how high-quality can play a part in achieving them, providing them with valuable insights to help them achieve their overarching goals.

“A large part of my role will also be to drive further growth of our audit portfolio across our chosen markets, providing our talented team with opportunities for professional development.

Dylan Rees, also appointed as partner, is based in Cardiff. He heads audits for various clients in Wales and the South West.

His primary focus is on businesses supported by private equity, within the mid-market category.
